Directed by Gavin Hood, the latest release from the X-Men franchise, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” posted an estimated $35 million on its May 1st opening Friday. This number sent the Wolverine-focused release to second highest Friday opener in the “X-Men” franchise. [traileraddict 10364]
